It's been far to long!!

Wow....I can't even remember the last time I had a chance to get on here and post but it finally feels like we have had time to slow down this week.  This household has been busy since the last post for sure!!

I'm sure you all know that we had a little boy on July 25th named Gage Owen and he has brought much joy into our family.  He has definitely grown a lot since we brought him home!!!  He is now almost 7 months old and weight 17lbs 7oz and is 28in long and has 8 teeth and working on more.  He is sitting unassisted really well and rolling a little but no signs of getting on his hands and knees to crawl yet.  He is always happy and sleeps so well......we are completely grateful God blessed us with a third child that sleeps this well and is a very happy baby!!!

Kaidence is our little ball of fire!!!  She is always on the go and trying to help with Gage and she trys really hard to mother Skyler.  She is getting better at counting to 15 and can sing the ABC song and recognizes most letters.  She does struggle with recognizing numbers though.  She loves to have her nails painted and to get her hair done whether is it is curly, ponytail, or barretts.  She still does not have enough hair for braids yet.

Skyler is over half way done with Kindergarten and he enjoys every day!!!  He never complains about having to go to school and he trys hard to teach Kaidence what he has learned at school.  He did try wrestling over the winter and I don't think it was for him.  He held out and did practice until the home wrestling tournament was completed and then I told him he didn't have to go anymore.  He never did want to compete and we didn't feel it was good to push him at this age because we don't want to burn him out before he is older and can really enjoy it later.

As for Nick and I there is never a dull moment.  We have 3 amazing children that keep us on our toes and we enjoy every day of it even though some days are extremely trying on a person.  I continue to work at Century Mutual Insurance and I am more focused on the computer software and the accounting side of things currently.  I enjoy my job and the people I work with are amazing!!!  Nick is still with Pure Fishing and if you haven't heard the company is going through some more big changes because they are moving distribution to Kansas City by the third quarter of this year.  His job is only partially affected but as of right now he still has a job.  He continues to sell seed with his business partner Brent Van Engen and they keep having better and better years.  Nick is also going back to school to get his bachelor's degree in business.  He is doing online fast track courses that started in August and will continue into early 2014.  He really has a full plate but is handling it well.

We are all excited for camping season to begin and get back outside and enjoy the sunshine and everything the outdoors has to offer.  We are doing great and I hope this somewhat gets you back up to speed.  Have a great weekend!!!
