Wow....I can't even remember the last time I had a chance to get on here and post but it finally feels like we have had time to slow down this week. This household has been busy since the last post for sure!!
I'm sure you all know that we had a little boy on July 25th named Gage Owen and he has brought much joy into our family. He has definitely grown a lot since we brought him home!!! He is now almost 7 months old and weight 17lbs 7oz and is 28in long and has 8 teeth and working on more. He is sitting unassisted really well and rolling a little but no signs of getting on his hands and knees to crawl yet. He is always happy and sleeps so well......we are completely grateful God blessed us with a third child that sleeps this well and is a very happy baby!!!
Kaidence is our little ball of fire!!! She is always on the go and trying to help with Gage and she trys really hard to mother Skyler. She is getting better at counting to 15 and can sing the ABC song and recognizes most letters. She does struggle with recognizing numbers though. She loves to have her nails painted and to get her hair done whether is it is curly, ponytail, or barretts. She still does not have enough hair for braids yet.
Skyler is over half way done with Kindergarten and he enjoys every day!!! He never complains about having to go to school and he trys hard to teach Kaidence what he has learned at school. He did try wrestling over the winter and I don't think it was for him. He held out and did practice until the home wrestling tournament was completed and then I told him he didn't have to go anymore. He never did want to compete and we didn't feel it was good to push him at this age because we don't want to burn him out before he is older and can really enjoy it later.
As for Nick and I there is never a dull moment. We have 3 amazing children that keep us on our toes and we enjoy every day of it even though some days are extremely trying on a person. I continue to work at Century Mutual Insurance and I am more focused on the computer software and the accounting side of things currently. I enjoy my job and the people I work with are amazing!!! Nick is still with Pure Fishing and if you haven't heard the company is going through some more big changes because they are moving distribution to Kansas City by the third quarter of this year. His job is only partially affected but as of right now he still has a job. He continues to sell seed with his business partner Brent Van Engen and they keep having better and better years. Nick is also going back to school to get his bachelor's degree in business. He is doing online fast track courses that started in August and will continue into early 2014. He really has a full plate but is handling it well.
We are all excited for camping season to begin and get back outside and enjoy the sunshine and everything the outdoors has to offer. We are doing great and I hope this somewhat gets you back up to speed. Have a great weekend!!!

It's been way to long....
Kaidence being the shoe diva that she is
I know, it has been over a year since I have last updated this and I'm sooooooo sorry. We are always so busy but I find that most of my problem is the fact that I hardly ever take the pictures off my camera to post. When I do get them off it is to free up space for another use. I still have quite a few to get off the camera but I will post some new ones.
As far as everyone here we are all doing well. Kaide turned 2 in August and Skyler turned 4 in March. We bought a camper this spring and have been enjoying camping with the kids. I believe if it were up the kids we would camp all the time! Kaide has been growing in leaps and bounds this year. She started really saying full sentences in July and has been shocking us with stuff she says everyday since. Skyler started preschool in September and he LOVES it....everyday he is so excited to go to school! I hope Kaide is that excited for it.
I took a job at Century Mutual Insurance in December and it is going great! One of the best benefits is the kids can stay at Grandma's house 2 times a week. I also get to bring Skyler to preschool and pick him up.
Nick took a job with Pure Fishing in April and as you can imagine he is in his glory. He does the quality there and has not come home yet and complained about work which is a huge thing for all of us.
We are doing great this year and enjoying the fabulous fall....it has been very dry and warm. The bad thing is the field fires. A little over a week ago there were about 12 fires in the area in just one day due to combining and the dry conditions. We got a little rain yesterday but we could sure use some more!!

Time for Fall
Wow time has flown by and I've been so busy I haven't updated in awhile.
Well Kaidence is officially 1!!!! She has 8 teeth and is working on #9. She started walking about 3 weeks ago now and is everywhere. She loves being able to keep up with Skyler for the most part. At her one year checkup she weighed in at 19lbs 6oz and 30 and 1/2inches long. She is still in the 25th percentile for weight but 85th for length. Her hair is still super fine and oh so white you can hardly tell she has any.
Skyler is 100% potty trained!!!! After all that stress he just decided one day he was going to do it all on the toilet!!! YEAH!!! He has been hard to keep up with as we spend as much time outside as we can. Days are definitely like fall now so it is time to bring out the jeans and sweatshirts. Skyler is starting to practice writing his name and he knows what letters spell his name so we are making progress. He could not start preschool yet this year because he missed the age cut off by 3 months.
Nick and I have been busy with working, spending time with the kids and keeping the farm up...mowing has been unbearable this year. We have to mow almost twice a week due to all the rain. We have a busy month plannned and hopefully we can get pictures posted of all our events. On September 19th Nick and I are going to the Bret Michaels concert at the Spencer Fair so we are pretty excited about that. We are taking the kids to the fair this weekend to see the animals tractors and campers of course!!! On the 25th we are taking Skyler and Kaidence down to ride on Thomas the Train!!! Yes the real Thomas the train is going to be in Boone Iowa and we are going to make it a day trip and he gets to meet Sir Topem Hat as well. I can't wait to see his reaction.
Otherwise everyone is healthy and happy!!!
Hope you enjoy the pictures and sorry for such a long gap in postings!!!

Life
Once again I have let time get away from me. We have all our concrete poured now and everything looks nice.
We have been enjoying the weather here and spending as much time outside as possible. My garden looks great so I can't complain in that department.
Kaidence is crawling and man is she gone in a hurry!!! She eats everything too of course it is like she has radar for stuff she isn't supposed to have.
Skyler is still trying to get part 2 of the potty training down and for my stress level sake I hope that is soon!!!
Nick has been busy fishing...he was gone all last weekend on a bachelor party and is going again tomorrow night.
Me well the kids keep me busy along with house work. Some Wednesday nights me and the girls hit up bingo for fun otherwise I'm just home enjoying the kids.

May Day
Well we spent out anniversary pouring concrete!! We put an approach on the garage and a few steps by some doors. We will be pouring the patio pry either at the end of May or beginning of June. We also took the kids to my Grandpa & Grandma Pyle's house so we could go out for supper and to a movie. That was a great ending to the day!! Thanks for all the anniversary wishes!!
The kids are doing fantastic. They are enjoying being outdoors we spend as much time outside or going to the park that we can. Otherwise there are not a whole lot of new updates as now we are just waiting for camping weather!!!

We love the sunshine!!!
Hey everyone. It has been quite awhile since I have gotten on to update everyone on our busy lives. The kids are doing fantastic. Kaidence started rolling with the first couple weeks of March so that was exciting and she also got her first 2 teeth in on the bottom. She is starting to be a jabber jaw. Still not a great eater but we are working on that.
Skyler has been glad to get outside and play!! He enjoyed Easter and the egg hunt but was not to keen on speaking with the Easter Bunny this year or even let me get a picture of them. It was way to cold out that day to bring Kaidence so she hung out with Grandma. We have spent a lot of time playing cars in the rocks and filling up the bubble lawn mower!! He rides his bike once in awhile but since Nick put down new rock on the driveway he gets stuck a lot and gets discouraged fast. Skyler loves to make Kaidence laugh and is trying to help out more with things that I do such as dishes and laundry!! Skyler had a very enjoyable 3rd birthday and we spent the afternoon with family having cake and ice cream. I think he enjoyed his new tool set and BBQ toy.
Nick is still working in Worthington at Bedford, is the chief of the May City fire department and sells seed in his spare time. Needless to say he is gone more often than not and if he isn't working....he is fishing! I think in the last week to 2 weeks he has been fishing at least 3 times.
I am currently working as a full time temp, and I was told that I will be full time soon, at Rembrandt Foods aka Rembrandt Enterprises Inc. Look up online if you are curious but they deal in the egg business. They raise their own chickens crack the eggs and sell liquid and dry egg products as well as precooked eggs. I work in Accounts Receivable currently but had an interview last week at another company so who knows just trying to find the best opportunity for me and my family.
I might not post as often going into summer as it will keep us busy. Today after church we went to the May City Fire Dept pancake breakfast. After that Sky & Kaidence and I went to the park in Ocheyedan for an hour to play. Allie came with but she had to stay in the car....poor dog. That is all for now.
